THE COMPLETE PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION INSTRUMENT

SPECTER

PARANORMAL IMAGING SYSTEM

Spectral Phenomenon Evaluation & Capture Through Environmental Reconnaissance

One instrument for the whole investigation. SPECTER reads the room through depth, RGB, thermal, EVP audio, wireless EMF nodes, and remote phone channels - tracks the figures and anomalies the eye misses, scores the field live, and archives the evidence the moment something appears.

SPECTER: Spectral Phenomenon Evaluation & Capture Through Environmental Reconnaissance

Every tool a serious investigation needs, in one instrument.

SPECTER unifies neural-network entity tracking, a live Anomaly Index built from six simultaneous environmental metrics, a full thermal command center, an EVP audio lab, wireless EMF field nodes, and an autonomous archive that keeps capturing activity even when no one is watching the screen. Every channel feeds one workspace, and every hit is logged with the depth, thermal, and field context that makes evidence hold up.

For years the field has run on SLS systems built around a discontinued 2010 gaming sensor and free software, with the real cost buried in pre-assembled hardware sold at a steep markup. SPECTER puts the value back where it belongs: the detection, the analysis, and the evidence collection.

It runs on a sensor you may already own - or one you can pick up for under $100 - and grows with you: add a thermal camera, feed in any HDMI camera, or build a wireless field node for a few dollars in parts. One license. The whole system.

Same sensor. Completely different instrument.

If you own a Kinect V2, you already own the hardware. SPECTER replaces the free app with purpose-built paranormal detection software, everything the SLS camera promised, done properly.

One instrument. Every layer of the investigation.

SPECTER watches the room across depth, RGB, thermal, EVP audio, wireless field nodes, and remote phone channels at once, scores it live, and archives every event. Open any capability below to see it in detail.

Detection & Live Views Neural entity tracking, a live Anomaly Index, and every way to render the room.

Neural-network tracking finds the figures and anomalies the eye misses and scores them against a live Anomaly Index built from six environmental metrics, so a real event stands out from a chair or a curtain.

  • Neural entity + object identification with confidence
  • Live Anomaly Index from six fused channels
  • RGB, depth blend, point cloud, and full 3D depth
  • P2W thermal view with hot / cold / humanoid detection
  • 2x2 Control Center: four live feeds side by side

Security Camera Wall Hook into the cameras you already have. Up to 8 feeds, detection on every one.
SPECTER running live anomaly detection across all 8 Lorex security camera feeds at once, with telemetry sparklines and a recent-detections rail alongside.
8-CAMERA LOREX WALL // LIVE DETECTION ON EVERY FEED

Ghost investigations already run on security cameras. SPECTER hooks straight into the ones you have. If your NVR or cameras expose an RTSP or ONVIF feed, pull up to 8 of them in at once. Lorex systems work out of the box.

  • Any RTSP or ONVIF NVR or camera
  • Layouts from 1x1 up to a full 8-camera wall
  • Live per-camera thumbnails on the side rail
  • Real-time detection on every channel at once
  • One hit bundles a frame from every angle

EVP Studio & Remote Mic Record voice phenomena, then take the audio apart with EQ, Voice Focus, and timecode markers.

Record electronic voice phenomena on the spot, then work the session in the EVP Audio Lab. Scrub the timeline, loop a region, slow it down, ride the EQ, and pull a whisper out of the noise with Voice Focus. Every marker is stamped to the synchronized timecode and tied to the visual reference for that moment.

  • Low cut, high cut, mid boost, and Voice Focus, live
  • Classified markers locked to the running timecode
  • Live spectrogram and waveform playback
  • Export clean WAV / MP3 or a rendered snippet video
  • Turn any phone into a wireless EVP microphone

COMMAND CENTER // PICK A ROLE ON ANY SCREEN

SPECTER serves the whole session over your local network at once. Throw the Evidence Wall on a TV, keep the Instrument Bay direction finder on a laptop, and run the live view on a phone in your pocket. No second install, no lag.

  • Evidence Wall: live feed plus field vector and event log
  • Instrument Bay: direction finder and full telemetry
  • Phone remote: live feed, thumbnails, and telemetry
  • Secure internet mode reaches your phone off local WiFi
  • Each unit has a private, passcode-gated link. Your feed stays yours.
  • New: render any Instrument Bay recording into its own standalone clip, timecode-synced to drop right onto your main footage

SPECTER NODE // ON-DEVICE READOUT

The SPECTER Node is a small wireless sensor with a magnetometer and a proximity antenna, the same ground a REM pod or a K2 meter covers, but wireless, timestamped, and logged. Set it across the room and it streams straight into SPECTER: live bearing and proximity on the Instrument Bay radar, alert thresholds you set in the app, and an armed snapshot trigger that captures the instant a reading crosses your line. It auto-baselines to wherever you place it and serves its own readout from a phone browser.

  • Magnetometer bearing plus proximity antenna
  • Auto-baselines to wherever you place it
  • Armed snapshot trigger on threshold crossing
  • Build it yourself from an ESP32 for about $15-25 in parts
  • Firmware and build guide are completely free, no purchase required
BUILD YOUR OWN NODE → REM POD VS K2 VS THE NODE →

SPECTER is the software. The sensor is yours to choose.

Repurpose a Kinect you already own, build a compact RealSense field unit, add a thermal camera, route any HDMI camera through a capture card, or build a wireless EMF and proximity node from scratch. Five ways in, each with a full parts list and build guide.

Coming from a REM pod or a K2 meter? The SPECTER Node build guide and firmware are 100% free, no purchase or account required, roughly $15-25 in parts and no soldering for a basic build.

Run a real investigation before you commit.
