VIEW MODES & PERFORMANCE PRESETS
Cycle the views with V, and tune SPECTER to your hardware
VIEW MODES
Press V to cycle through the available views. The exact order depends on your sensor and performance preset.

| DEPTH | False-color or mono depth map | Depth sensor |
| DEPTH_3D | Orbitable 3D depth point cloud | Depth sensor |
| POINT_CLOUD | 3D cloud colored from the live RGB feed | Depth + RGB |
| ROOM_MAP | Accumulating 3D room scan | Depth + ROOM MAP mode |
| DEPTH_BLEND (optional) | RGB with semi-transparent depth on top | Enable depth blend view in Settings |
The Show performance preset enables the 3D views and DEPTH_BLEND in the cycle.

PERFORMANCE PRESETS
Open Settings → Performance preset and choose the option that matches your machine.
| Preset | Use when |
|---|---|
| Light | Laptop is struggling, depth-only path; RGB feed and color ML off. |
| Balanced | Default, RGB and depth balanced for most investigations. |
| Show | Demo reel or max quality, turns on the 3D views and DEPTH_BLEND in the view cycle. |
Changing preset may require a feed restart. If views do not update, switch source (press
S) or restart the app.
